Search Console

Search Console was previously known as Google Webmasters. Its a free tool provided by Google to help Webmasters manage their website's presence in Google search results.

Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

Search engine marketing refers to promoting a website through paid placements or Ads in search engines. Adwords, Google's advertising product is by far the most widely used search engine marketing product.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Search engine optimization refers to creating new web pages or modifying existing ones in order to improve their accessibility, usability, indexibility, and search discoverability so that they rank higher in search results for their targeted terms.

Search Query

A search query is a term that web users use to find the products, services, and information they are looking for online.

Search Term Popularity

Search term popularity is the number of results shown for a term when a search is performed.

Semantic Markup

Semantic markup is used to associate & reinforce meaning with HTML markup. Earlier, HTML scope was limited to defining web page structure and layout and controlling presentation of text, to some extent; The concept of semantic markup gives HTML more power.
