The Northwestern Ohio Tractor Pullers Association (Pulltown) is a private club made up of 200 active members, governed by a Board of nine Directors elected from the membership. They are the promoters of the National Tractor Pulling Championships and have been since 1967. The National Tractor Pulling Championships are held the third weekend in August at the Wood County Fairgrounds, located at 13800 W. Poe Rd., Bowling Green, Ohio.

In 2017, Pulltown decided they wanted to have a company create a website that would be user-friendly and easy to navigate. The Pulltown site was dated and instead of wanting to revamp the existing site, InfoStream gave the option of creating a new and improved website. This approach was exciting to the team at Pulltown and they began working with InfoStream.

The Results

Pulltown Business Manager, Rhonda Hogrefe stated they received lots of positive feedback from patrons; everyone liked the large, image-driven design.  The website was posted 4 months prior to the event and through April and August there were 58,500 visitors to the site and 51.7% of those visitors were new. The process of selling tickets was easier based on the online inventory and tracking. The staff at Pulltown could easily take orders over the phone, using the admin panel of the website to add orders manually – keeping the website’s inventory up to date. Rhonda Hogrefe stated that with the new website and InfoStream’s guidance and help, this was the most organized and successful they have been!

The Outcome

Rhonda Hogrefe said Pulltown was happy with their decision to work with InfoStream.  “InfoStream was very attentive to what we were asking them to do. They always made us feel like we were their only project and worked until we got the end result that everyone was happy to get,” she stated.  Going forward with InfoStream, Rhonda said they are still working on various updates. “The site that InfoStream created is user-friendly on the administrative end so I am able to navigate easily.”  If Rhonda comes up on any sort of major updates, she knows that she can reach out to InfoStream for guidance and help.
