Outside Account Executive
InfoStream Solutions is seeking an experienced Outside Account Executive to build and maintain a book of business within the Ann Arbor territory. The ideal team member has a basic understanding of Internet/Digital Marketing and managing strong client relationships. The position will be supported by a highly experienced remote team in Toledo. This is primarily a virtual position, with in-person team and client meetings as needed. This position will build and retain all clients in the Ann Arbor territory from day one, using a blend of face to face and outbound calls to qualify and schedule meetings with key decision makers. Our goal is to build long term business relationships through demonstrated success.Compensation:
Realistic first year earnings $100K with uncapped commissions available. Over achievers can expect higher than average income. Commission structure is 20% commission on new business + 7% commission on retention business.Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and expectations; understand and document customers business objectives and goals
- Assess customer needs and best relate that to InfoStream digital marketing services
- Highly responsive to the InfoStream team during available working hours
- Prospect and schedule meetings in key verticals, attend all sales calls and presentations with Senior Acct. Representatives during training.
- Report weekly the status of prospects/sales/closes to Vice President of Sales once fully trained
Experience/Skills:
- Demonstrated sales background with a book of business. Media sales experience is a plus
- The ideal team member has a basic understanding of the internet/digital marketing and creating/managing strong client relationships. Mentoring and ongoing training provided
- Strong writing skills to effectively communicate high volume of personalized emails
- Proven track record achieving measurable sales goals
- Positive, energetic phone presence, excellent listening skills, and likable attitude
- Experience spending much of the workday talking with prospect contacts (Owners, Managers, Entrepreneurs)
- Ability to build successful client relationships and overcome objections/rejections over the phone, in person and via email
- Strong desire to succeed, highly coachable, winning attitude.
