Quality Score

Quality score is a numeric score between 1 to 10 assigned by Google to each keyword that an online advertiser bids on. It's Google's view of the quality of the ad and landing page associated with a keyword. The higher the quality score of a keyword, more relevant and useful it is considered for the users and thus lower is the CPC (Cost-per-Click) of that keyword.

Reciprocal Link Exchange

When two websites mutually exchange links for potential benefits in search results, it is called reciprocal link exchange. Since links are not put based on their merit and quality is not a factor, reciprocal link exchange is not much appreciated by search engines.


When a web page visitors are required to be forwarded to another URL, a Redirect is created. The new destination may or may not be located on the same domain. There exist several types of redirects which can be used based on the purpose.


The term 'referrer' is used to identify and refer the URL that forwards visitors to a webpage. Analyzing the referrer URL can give some valuable insights.


Remarketing means reconnecting with the people through relevant ads, who have left your website without purchasing anything. It lets you show ads to those people who have used your app or visited your website.

Responsive design is an approach to designing websites that adjust its layout for optimal reading and user experience, based on the device used to view it. The idea is to minimize web page re-sizing, panning, and scrolling, so that users get the information they are looking for quickly, easily and efficiently. Rich Media term refers to a web page ad which uses advanced technology such as streaming video, audio or other elements. These elements interact instantly with the users and encourage them to interact and engage with the content.


Search Robots or Bots are software programs designed & built to facilitate web pages crawling and indexing. Google search robot is called 'Googlebot'.


Its a text file used to control search robots access to various section or pages of a webpage. You can use the robots.txt file to prevent access to specific files, folders, or entire website altogether. Though all major search engine robots obey robots.txt instructions, these instructions are just directives and not commands.

RSS Feed

RSS (Really simple syndication/Rich site summary) feeds are used to distribute and share frequently updated content with users in real time. Users can install a RSS feeds reader program that displays updates from the websites they have selected. RSS feeds offer users a way to keep up with their favorite content.
